There are so many attractions and things to do and see in Washington County it is hard to list them all here.

Narraguagus River, Milbridge MaineOur office is located in the beautiful, unspoiled Downeast Maine, Milbridge that was once a busy shipbuilding center and what some have come to call the “last frontier.” Experience a Downeast cruise with a local captain while site seeing the lighthouses, puffins, sunsets, and feast on lobsters in a tranquil cove.

Take home something special from a local gift shop. The Cinnamon Stick, Firefly & friends, Narraguagus Pottery, Nelson Decoys, and Elmer’s flower shop are just a few to mention. Take home colorfully painted pottery, handmade blueberry soap, or a hand-knit sweater!

Visit the quaint town of Cherryfield, the blueberry capital of the world. There are over 12,000 acres of blueberries that blossom in June and are harvested/raked in August. No Maine destination is as well known or visited than Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island. The second most visited national park in the United States; Acadia includes 35,000 acres with 41 miles of coastline. Whale watching, hiking, biking and kayaking are all part of what make the Downeast/Acadia Region special.

Plan your trip in September & October, your route will be adorned with colors mile after mile as nature takes its course and becomes a fabulous fall feast for the eyes!

Milbridge Days Celebration: Milbridge features a day of their own, including a morning parade, the all famous codfish races, a magic show for the children, crafters and vendors line the streets and to top it off, enjoy your lunch sitting by the ocean at the Local Lobster Feast.
